Terms and Conditions
Normally all orders are sent First Class by Royal Mail at no extra charge. However once despatched, we cannot accept liability for the loss or misdelivery of any order by the postal system.
Alternatively we can send your order by the First Class “Signed For” service. This is a tracked service and should be with you the day after we mail it. This is not a guaranteed next day service. Cost £3 which reflects the fact we have to drive to the post office to send your order. Please select this service at the checkout page.
Special Delivery. Royal Mail offer a guaranteed next day by 1.00 p.m. Please order before 3.00p.m. for this service, after this time it might not go till the following day but we will email you to advise what is happening. The cost of this is £7.50. Please select this service at the checkout page.
We try to ship your item the same day if you order before 3.00 pm or the next day if after that time but as we are a small business we cannot guarantee this. If we know in advance we will be away there will be a notice on the home page of the site which also lists when we will be away at conventions. If you want to know for certain when we can ship please phone or text the mobile number on the “Contact” page. Orders placed after 3.00pm will be shipped sameday if we can manage it. Our last postal collection is approx 5.00pm.
We do not send paper invoices with the goods but you are offered the opportunity to print off a hard copy during the checkout process. The email confirmation that is sent to you can also be printed off as an invoice. It is our small contribution to being ecofriendly.
By selecting the “I do not have a paypal account” on the paypal page you can pay direct by card without having to join paypal.
You can order by phone or letter but we prefer orders to be placed via the website. We can take payment by cheque or postal order but it is a nuisance for us so please online if you can. When orders are placed via the website it automatically does our bookeeeping for us and as we are naturally lazy we prefer this option. You can of course phone or email a question before placing an order and we will do our best to answer your question. You will probably get a better answer by phoning as a more detailed discussion is easier. I have over fifty years experience in magic and can answer an awful lot of questions.
Returns, Refunds, and Replacements
When you buy a trick part of the price is for equipment and part for the secret. As you cannot return the secret once you know it we cannot accept returns of tricks unless the equipment is actually faulty. Certain items are user serviceable; please see below. When postage is charged this is never refundable. However if you have any problems at all please get in touch and we will try to be as helpful as possible.
User Serviceable Items
Certain items that we sell, particularly flipper coins, folding coins and biting coins need to have the elastic/rubber components replaced or repaired from time to time. This is the responsibility of the user and we recomend you to learn how to do this. We do not offer a repair/replacement service on these items.
